Joy and Sorrow of Being a Blogger

Joy and Sorrow of Being a Blogger

As a blogger, everyone experiences both the joys and challenges of being a blogger. This activity takes up a lot of time, energy, and thought.

Each blogger has a different vision and mission, depending on their beliefs. Some want to earn money online, while others just enjoy writing on their blog without making money. There are also some who just follow the trend.

Out of many people, the most common belief is to earn money from the blog. If that happens, a blogger is so enthusiastic about building a blog.

However, disappointment sometimes comes their way when building a blog, if their belief is not changed, that blogging is not just about making money but making blogging a hobby as a return from that hobby, earning money. In other words, changing the belief that blogging is not the main goal for earning income, but rather a hobby. If you don't want to be disappointed in the middle of filling your blog.

Blogging activities are not always smooth, as there are many obstacles and challenges that bloggers must face. That's why I want to share my personal experience of the joys and challenges of being a blogger.

Time for offline activities becomes scarce

At first, because I was so enthusiastic about building a blog, I forgot about time. I kept my eyes on the blog all day, tinkering with the layout here and there. All the plans I had made in the offline world became chaotic. All my work became destroyed. I rarely participated in social activities.

Maybe it's because I couldn't manage my time, because I was so enthusiastic about earning money online. I think this is something that needs to be re-examined, namely managing time.

Often causes big questions to everyone

Some of us might experience this. People who don't know about blogging might ask or even wonder about what we're doing. Especially the people around us. Even my own parents scolded me because every day I just play with my phone. Meanwhile, I was writing content. Given an explanation, I don't know how to explain what I'm doing.

Who knows, maybe when I become successful I will explain it later hehehe.

Often broken up by a girlfriend

Oh, this happens often. During my time as a blogger, I was very productive and left behind by my girlfriend. This is because when I was doing blogging, I was too focused, so they were not taken care of. I also didn't reply to their messages. In the end, they went looking for a boyfriend who always has time for them.

It's bitter if this continues to happen. Although what I'm doing is for their future, right.

Maybe by finding a girlfriend who has the same profession, she can understand what I'm doing and I can understand what she's doing. But too bad, I haven't found one with the same profession yet. Sad. I'll stay single for a while to stay focused on my blogging activities.

Difficulty getting approval from AdSense

In the matter of getting approval from AdSense, not all bloggers can easily get approval. There are many reasons why AdSense doesn't approve, such as the lack of quality content, low traffic, or violation of AdSense policies.

Getting approval from AdSense can be a big challenge for bloggers who are just starting out. However, by consistently creating high-quality content and increasing traffic to the blog, the chances of getting approved by AdSense will increase.

Competition with other bloggers

Blogging is a crowded field, and there are many bloggers who are working hard to create content and reach their target audience. This means that there is a lot of competition out there, and it can be tough to stand out.

To overcome this challenge, bloggers need to focus on creating unique and engaging content that will capture the attention of their target audience. They also need to be active in promoting their blog and building relationships with other bloggers and influencers in their niche.

Lack of motivation and creativity

Blogging requires a lot of time, energy, and effort, and it's easy to lose motivation when the results are slow to come. Additionally, coming up with new and creative ideas for content can be challenging, especially for bloggers who have been working in the same niche for a long time.

To overcome these challenges, bloggers need to find ways to stay motivated and inspired. This can include setting achievable goals, taking breaks from time to time, and surrounding themselves with people who support and inspire them.
